WARRANTY CONDITIONS



1. Warranty Period

OGNIOCHRON S.A. provides a limited manufacturer’s warranty for its fire extinguishers.

The applicable warranty period is specified in the commercial documentation provided at the time of sale and may vary depending on the country of purchase, applicable local regulations, and distribution agreements.

The warranty period begins on the date of purchase, as evidenced by a valid proof of purchase (invoice or receipt).

This warranty applies within the territory of the European Union unless otherwise agreed in writing.


2. Scope of Warranty

OGNIOCHRON S.A. shall be liable for defects resulting from causes inherent in the product at the time of sale, including manufacturing or material defects.

Under this warranty, OGNIOCHRON S.A., at its sole discretion, may:

  • repair the defective product, or

  • replace the defective product with a new or equivalent unit.

The warranty covers proper functioning of the product under normal use in accordance with the user manual supplied with the device.

Warranty service does not extend or renew the original warranty period.


3. Conditions for Maintaining Warranty Validity

To maintain warranty validity, the fire extinguisher must:

  • be used strictly in accordance with its intended purpose,

  • be operated under the conditions specified in the user manual,

  • undergo mandatory periodic inspections and any required maintenance activities.

All inspections and maintenance must be performed exclusively by Authorized Service Centers of OGNIOCHRON S.A.

An up-to-date list of Authorized Service Centers is available on the official company website.

Failure to comply with required inspection or servicing obligations may result in loss of warranty coverage.


4. Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • mechanical damage, including damage caused during transport, improper storage, or improper handling,

  • damage resulting from improper use or use contrary to the user manual,

  • damage resulting from servicing performed by unauthorized persons or entities not holding valid authorization from OGNIOCHRON S.A.,

  • damage caused by unauthorized modification or alteration of the product,

  • damage resulting from the use of non-original spare parts,

  • damage caused by force majeure events, accidents, negligence, misuse, or other circumstances beyond the control of the manufacturer or seller,

  • normal wear and tear of components subject to natural consumption.


5. Refusal of Warranty Claims

OGNIOCHRON S.A. reserves the right to refuse warranty service if:

  • the safety seal has been broken,

  • unauthorized interference with the product has been detected,

  • the product has been modified,

  • non-original spare parts have been used.


6. Warranty Claims Procedure

In the event of a warranty claim, the user may deliver the defective product to any Authorized Sales Point or Authorized Service Center of OGNIOCHRON S.A.

The following must be provided:

  • the defective product,

  • valid proof of purchase (invoice or receipt).

Unless otherwise required by mandatory local consumer protection regulations, the cost of transporting the defective product to the service point shall be borne by the customer.


7. Statutory Rights

This manufacturer’s warranty is voluntary and does not exclude, limit, or suspend any mandatory statutory rights of consumers under applicable national laws implementing European Union directives on consumer protection.

The rights and obligations of the parties are governed exclusively by these Warranty Terms and Conditions.
